This means it is a little over half the size of Wisconsin and the people there are mostly Spanish and Italian (aka BEAUTIFUL, OLIVE SKIN AND DARK HAIR/EYES).

Basically, they have all four seasons with few examples of VERY cold and VERY hot. There is no jungle, mountains, desert or snow.
